desktop manager won't connect to BB

Hi

i am having a problem with connecting desktop manager (for PC) with the blackberry (curve 9300). The desktop manager starts but can't see the BB. If I reinstall it works, then next time I try, it doesn't. I am running windows 7 SP1.

 ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks,
