lost photos

Blackberry automatically downloaded new software and erased my photos that were on camera not on disk plus wallpaper.   Can this be retreived at all?

Re: lost photos

If you have a back up, yes.

Just to be sure, BlackBerry doesn't automatically update or upgrade, ever. You are given a choice to allow or deny.

Re: lost photos

this new upgrade kept me rescheduling until I had no choice and it did it overnight while charging.  I did not have backup.   Someone suggested tryin to register with desktop manager and maybe they are somwhere in "space" and can be retrieved??????

Re: lost photos

Nope, you have to have a backup. Sorry.

So, you did have the choice, I got the same message over time, from Verizon giving a deadline to upgrade by.

You should have had your pictures on the Media Card, the media card is not affected by OS upgrades.

Open your camera > Menu key > options and set the default picture save to, to the media card.
