What does this mean other than I cant synchronize my calendar with my phone.

Which version of BlackBerry Desktop Software are you currently using? Are you attempting to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook? If so, what version of Outlook are you using?

I am getting the sync error: "A program error occured at line 131 in .\Error.cpp" when I am trying to sync with Microsoft Outlook 2010 running on Windows 7 64 bit with my Blackberry Torch 9810 using Desktop Software version 7.1 Bundle 1997.

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB32032 Recurring appointments of a specific pattern cause the sync to fail with an error message in BlackBerry Desktop Software

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

I had reviewed and done those steps before updating to the latest Desktop update on 3/26/2013. No luck.

"No luck", as in your review of the KB provided nothing useful to attempt? Or in that you don't have any of the referenced causal entries? Or in that you had such entries, but you treated them in accordance with the KB? Or something else ("no luck" is awfully difficult to interpret accurately)?

Further, since you left that out of your first post, is there anything else that you've already tried?

I had such entries and I treated them in accordance with the KB before I updated Desktop on 3/26/2013. No luck, even after updating to the latest Desktop on 3/26/2013. The error message continues and the sync fails.

OK thanks. Then if there are no more entries that are causal, I suggest this thread:

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
