synch error

I recieved the following error when synching my blackberry curve 8530:

CRTranDB::AddnewSmiley Very Happyuplicate record Id--E1FCF953

what solutions exist to resolve this error message?  thanks

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB32306 When synchronizing calendar data using the BlackBerry Desktop Software the error "CRTranDB::AddNew : Duplicate record Id" is displayed

Unfortunately, it contains nothing useful! Hence, I suggest this thread:

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
