9790 Maps not working

Shortly after first using my maps function had stopped working. whatever i try to do and with full internet and 3g , having pressed " my location" , i cannot get beyond the resultant mesage " searching location" having worked previously i can only assume i must have inadvertadly pressed some sort of disable or similar function? any assistance to regain functionality would be greatly appreciated ! thanks

Re: 9790 Maps not working

Hey borischelski,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

Are you able to use the GPS in other applications like Facebook or Twitter for BlackBerry?  Also go into Options>Device>Location Settings and is GPS set to On?  I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.
