I have a BlackBerry Internet Service id (where I set up my e-mail accounts when I first got my phone). I set this id up years ago, and BlackBerry didn't require an e-mail address as the username. Now I can't update my FB and Twitter apps directly from my phone, because it requires an e-mail address as the username.

If I set up a new BlackBerry ID for downloading/updating apps, will it mess up my e-mails that are set up under the old BlackBerry Internet Service id?

I would try calling service provider they may be able to help guide you to a solution.
