Blackberry 8320

Hi, I m using blackberry services oferred by vodafone in india, I have unlimited gprs plan, am able to browse net through the browser, however it doesn't allow connecting to mobile applications like net banking or opera mini, it says no internet connectivity found or your gprs plan does not support. When I checked with the operator they say that blackberry doesn't allow use of third party software / applications. I am amused how is this possible, can someone throw some light on real problem. Re: Blackberry 8320

Of course third Party Application can installed on the device, otherwise BB would not be in Business....

Firstly, what are the exact URL's you are trying?

Secondly check the following according to the Browser Setup:

Open Settings

Open Advanced Options

Open Browser

Change the Default Browser to either BlackBerry Browser or Internet Browser

BlackBerry Brower is your Corporate Browser which browsers through the Corporate Network and Internet Browser is BlackBerry's BIS Browser.

Even though I am on a BES, I use the BIS Browser (Internet Browser).

Thirdly, another you can check is the Emulation of the browser....

Open the Browser so you are seeing the Bookmarks

Menu: Options

Browser Config

Here are further settings and the emulation.

Leaving it on BlackBerry should be fine...

Save and then retry the links you attemtping.
