Calendar Additions

A couple feature requests for the Blackberrry Calendar:

1) Multiple Calendar Support

2) Event Category Support

One huge limitation I've seen with the Blackberry Calendar (and Windows Mobile has) is the support for multiple calendars and Categorizing events. In my work, I like to keep different types of events in seperate categories (e.g. Program events versus customer events). Further, I always have the need to maintain at least one more calendar (e.g. boss' calendar, other team calendars, etc).

I'm wondering if any work is being done in this direction.

Thanks,

Lee

Re: Calendar Additions

if you use several BIS email accounts, you get one calendar per email account.
I don't think you can do anything with multiple calendars in BES.

I know, it's like walking on the head.

Re: Calendar Additions

You "get" a Calendar SERVICE BOOK for each BIS account, but there's no wireless sync for them, and if I remember correctly, only wired sync for Yahoo Plus.

Also, you can only sync ONE calendar wirelessly with BES.  If you want multiple calendars, they can be set up, but only through Desktop Manager and can only be synced over the wire.

That said, you can sync your BES callendar as well as one Google Calendar - both wirelessly - using Google Sync:

But still only two as far as I know.
