Default address book view to show phone number instead of company name

I just updated to latest RIM OS. All my addresses are there, but the summary view shows the name and compnay name.  I would like it to be name and phone number.  Can't seem to find out how to do this.  I notice on the synch config that required fields are name and company, is that it?  If so, how to change that, can't seem to find it.

Re: Default address book view to show phone number instead of company name

on your bare bone BlackBerry device, the display is name & company. You can't change that.
so a way of doing things is edit the company field to add the phone number.

My personal opinion is that having the phone number in the contacts list is not useful. What are you doing to do seeing that phone number ? Write it on a paper ?

you can try and look at a third party application that deals with contacts. Maybe there is one that will display contacts differently.
