tried this, but no luck.

removed the battery, connected the bb to the laptop

using the latest version of the desktop manager

please help

You are going to have to help us out a bit more here...with so many steps and dependencies in the instructions provided, "no luck" leaves us to only guess...and that helps no one.

I m getting error as "Reload software:552", as per the previous instructions i tried force detection through application loader  KB10144 but it is not working as it does not detect my device (the device connected shows as "None") & after following the instructions it shows no software update is required for your device.. Also the seetings option does not populate to follow the next steps.... please help....

when i clicked options .. i received this : No software is available for your device ,,
then i had nothing to remove or add


what to do?

Since you've posted in this thread, we must assume you have the same symptoms as are in discussion in this thread...the 552 error. As such, you should first read this thread and try the things it discusses, and report back with the specifics of what you've tried and exactly what happened with each attempt.

 

Then again, if you don't have the 552 error, then you should open your own thread and provide full details about your situation.
