Re: How To Reload Your Operating System

hi. i wanted to try doing this process on my blackberry curve 9320, but when i get to step 4: "

  1. On the next page, click on the Advanced button.  Ensure that both boxes (Delete all application data and Delete all currently installed applications) are checked.  Click Next." it will only allow me to check the first box(delete all application data) and not the second box (delete all currently installed apps). i have windows 7 and a Blackberry curve 9320

That's fine, proceed anyway with only the first checked.

Re: How To Reload Your Operating System

I 'm trying to wipe and reinstall the OS on my BB9860. When I attempt to turn on my phone while connected to my PC (using the app loader) it keeps getting stuck at about 70% while loading, at this point the phone then disconnects and the PC can no longer see it. Is there any other way to do this?

ChrissyNGrant, if you are not connected to the PC, can you turn on your phone and it boots up?

Re: How To Reload Your Operating System

hello I managed to reload my 8530 yesterday with no hitch at all. now I'm trying to fix my husband's 8530 but ending up with "RELOAD SOFTWARE: 507" ....from what I read, it means that somehow the os went poof from the device.... and all the link I found only has instructions for windows PC... I'm on macbook (my win7 PC's just killed itself 2 weeks ago) and I need to get the bb going....

please someone, help me to get the mac version of the instruction.... thanks!!
