I can't connect my work email via Outlook Web Access

Hello,

 

I have a Blackberry Bold 9700
I work a company and we have a exchange server.


Our work owa adress like this;

https://corporate.company.com.tr/exchange

 

I use Vodafone BIS Service (http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.com.tr/)

When i try add an email account via outlook web adress;

 

i provide server address, user name, password, mailbox but i cant connect my email...

 

But i download some third party programs for example;

NotifySync (http://www.notifysync.co.uk/?rid=runpcrun)

AstraSync (http://www.astrasync.com/portal/referalregister.aspx?referalcode=1038)

 

When i provide SAME configuration in these programs i can connect my email, i can send email and i can receive new mails...

 

What is the difference ? why i can't connect my email via BIS ?

Did you read this article http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB04804 ? Does your situation meet the situation as description ?

 

Me, is Yes. I wonder when RIM can solve this problem.

 

I am stuck  now.  It was  connected but suddenly disconnect, retry to reconnect again in many times and days not guarantee to get connection working again. Many time this happened, while I am the IT person in the office, so I know there is nothing that caused up/down of the connection from our side.

Hi folks,

 

I'm having exactly the same problem as above! My work recently upgraded exchange from 2003 (whick worked great with blackberry) to 2010 and now I can't connect my blackberry. All setup options are def correct but cant make a connection.

 

Does anyone know if Blackberry have found a solution to this yet as I've done a fair bit of net searching and it seems to be an ongoing problem since exchange 2010 came out?

I've seen the change authentication basic=true command to be a solution, but thats not much use to me as a blackberry user! Have you ever tried persuading your company IT department to change its server exchange settings?!!?!?

I have a new Blackberry Curve 8530. I am baffled as I can log in to my OWA 2007 from my laptop and my Ipod touch. A friend I work with has a Droid with a program called touchdown and he has no problem. I have tried everything I can think of to get this to work and I am out of ideas. I can log in to my email through the blackberry browser but it is difficult to read. I don't understand why this won't work. Would love it if someone could tell me how to fix this issue or if BB has any plans on coming out with a patch for it.

Hi jklmilligan and fsm1,

 

When it comes to Exchange 2007 and 2010, EWS (Exchange Web Services) needs to be enabled on the Exchange Server in order for the BlackBerry Internet Service to integrate your account.  Take a look at this article:

 

KB18567 - BlackBerry Internet Service cannot connect to a Microsoft Outlook Web Access account using...

I know this is older post but I'm still having issue with this. 

 

Microsoft Exchange Web Services is turned on and functioning correctly. What else I'm missing? I'm also a network admin so not sure atm. It was ok until we installed exchange 2010....
