Internet won't connect on Rogers

I recently added the blackberry service to my Curve 8320. The phone is unlocked and I was using it with another carrier in Kuwait. I added the service, and got the message from blackberry saying that the handheld was registered, but I can't connect to the blackberry internet service! I am with Rogers canada, and the technical support are useless. Does anyone have any clue? EDGE is in capital letters, but it still won't open! the browser says you are not authorized to view this site, etc.!

Re: Internet won't connect on Rogers

If the phone is unlocked and you subscribed for BlackBerry data plan then you should be able to connect at ease! I tierd the same with one 8100 and I was successful. Are you subscribed for BIS or BES? Is your device previously used in BES? In sucg case maybe IT policy is causng the trouble.

Re: Internet won't connect on Rogers

also verify IPPP for BIBS and blackberry internet service books are present under options> adavnced optons> service book. Talking of rogers blackberry support team, i would say they are one of the best in th world when it comes toBB support.
