Mad cursor

My cursor moves up by itself. How do I get this to stop as it is most annoying? OS 5 worked flawless but I cant say the same for 6. I know that this is a common problem seeing as two of my colleagues are experiencing the same frustration as I am!! Please can you assist urgently!!

Re: Mad cursor

Hello,

I think you can try two things : the soft reboot, and if it does not work, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can't lose data with these two reboots.

Soft reboot :
1) Hit the three following keys at the same time :
- Alt
- Right Shift
- Delete
2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

Hard reboot :
1) your Blackberry device is on
2) remove the battery and wait for a minute
3) Put the battery back
4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

Please tell us if it works for you.

Re: Mad cursor

Thanks for the advice...but this didn't solve my problem. Is there any way of down grading back to OS 5? I must say that I regret purchasing this phone!

Re: Mad cursor

is your device a 9700 or a 9780 ?
were you unhappy with OS5 ?

Anyways, you can simply :
1) download an OS5 on your PC
2) upload it to your device using loader.exe

Re: Mad cursor

Its a 9780. I had a 9700 before this one with OS 5 and it worked perfectly. Would you advice the downgrade or is there any other possible solutions you can recomend before I do this?
