Microsoft Office Live Email Address

Hi, I am using my company's domain email using Microsoft Office Live service.

 

Can I check this email address through my blackberry?

Please confirm whether you're using BIS (POP/IMAP enabled personal/work mail) or BES (access of corporate domain  mail with BES server setup) service?

 

In BIS you can integrate any mail  ID that supports POP or IMAP protocol.

There are many ways to check. How do you integrate your mail IDs? With Email Settings (BIS) or Setup Wizard (BES) icon? Do you or your company had to purchase licenses (BES) for integrating email IDs? Are you able to integrate up to 10 email IDs (BIS)?

I am using BIS.

 

So it is not possible to access email?

Hello,

 

If your company's mail system is a Microsoft Exchange Server and you are able to access your mail from a web browser (i.e., XX.XXX.XX.XXX/exchange), you can use BlackBerry Internet Service to poll that account.  Simply set up your BlackBerry to access your account by clicking on the 'E-mail Settings' icon on your home screen.  From there, enter your e-mail address and password.  If you use an Exchange Server, you will be asked if you wish to enter your account information manually (this usually occurs after the system initially fails to successfully set up the account access).  Do so, and enter the information that it requests (this should be available through your IT department if you don't already know it).  Once you are done, you should be able to send/receive messages from the BlackBerry within approximately twenty minutes.
