Movies

Is there a program out there that lets you view your movies on your pearl and stop and start where you left off.  Instead of having to view the movie all the way from the beginning each time.

Re: Movies

only work around i know is to hit the end call key while watching the movie. This way when you go back in, you can watch where you left off.

On my wish list is finer control over going forward or back while a movie is playing.  Maybe with OS 4.5...

Re: Movies

what app are you guys using to rip movies for your devices. The desktop manager will transcode avi files into MP4's but how do I rip a full DVD movie so that I can watch it on my device?

Re: Movies

I use an App called "Super". It's free and comes with all the codecs you need, Google will find it.

For encoding movies.... it depends on what device you use, but for an 83xx I find that using 320x240, the MPEG-4 codec and MP4 container at around 478 BPS works best.

Re: Movies

I use DVDFab Platinum or Alive 3GP Video Converter.

Re: Movies

I also SuperC, it works great and best of all its free.  There is a great video converter available from Sprint on softwarestore.sprint.com, it costs about $30 but it converts directly from dvd and different sources.
