Hi there!

 

1) Launch your Desktop Software

2) Launch the Application Loader

3) Install BBM


If that does not work, then please return to these forums (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/) and register an account so that we can provide you with direct assistance.

i have also had the same problem cannot find where or how to reinstall blackberry messenger!

it has totally been removed from my phone.....

how do i get it back??

u have to install the desktop loader from the cd?

and then follow the options? because i only tried on my phone, ill try the cd....

"have to"? No...it's one way. There are others. I'm not sure if there is a way just from the BB itself...all of the methods I know of involve tethering via USB.

What would cause the messenger not to be listed in the app. loader on the desktop manager? And how can I get it back to reinstall it to my handheld?

1) Your carrier may block it.

 

2) It may have gotten deleted from your DTM configuration.

 

3) Any number of other things.

 

Method 1:

Download and install DTM:

 

Download and install (to your PC) your device OS package:

 

Tether and launch DTM and use the app loader component to install BBM

 

 

Method 2:

Download and install at least the USB drivers:

 

Tether and launch (on your PC) this website:

 

 

There might be other methds, but those are what I am aware of.

Hi there, yesterday after re-starting my phone, my bbm was just gone. This had happened last year as well but I was able to sort it out. This time nothing I am doing wants to work. Everytime I try to install bbm from my App Worl, it gives me different errors, like app world is not available in my country or it can't find the server or there was a problem try again later. This has been going on since yesterday afternoon. This morning I tried using my desktop and restored the phone with my last update, it did not bring back my bbm. And in the Applications, blackberry messenger is not on the list! What else can I do as I am really at my wits end here????
