Hello, I have problem with my blackberry device which may not be be that common. I want to re-install OS5 for it but the problem is, it freezes on the white screen with blackberry in it, and the device cannot connect to my laptop. I have downloaded BBSAK but still cannot find it. There is no problem with the memory card. i think the problem would be a broken file from the app world (a theme i suppose) which caused the OS to crash. Please help.
sincerly, Ali

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, you should be able to either remove the offending app and/or proceed with your OS reload.
Otherwise, this might be helpful:
Good luck and let us know!

Hi, i tried to boot in safe mode but no luck. I'll try the force detection and see how it goes.
Thank you.

Hi, well still no luck with it. I left the the updater to finish the work, but after 5 hours i came back to it and the updater is stuck on (loading module "net_rim_theme_precision_zen_320x240_b_01.cod" i don't know if it has something to do to the device. does it mean that this module is what causing the problem?
