I am still frustrated as I'd like to be able to just hut the button and have it work. I am affraid the OS is correupted.
You might be correct...there is only one way to find out.
Or, it might be just the email setup app...if you remove/reload that alone, that might help.
Or it might be something else.
And especially at an internet distance, the best we can do is guess...and it's a deductive process, ruling things out one by one until what is left is the most likely cause.
Dmy device is unlocked, do you know if I reload the OS form the carrier, will it lock it once again?
That's a myth...once a BB is carrier unlocked, the only place it can be re-locked is at the factory.
