Hi,

I just got your PM.

Lets work on it where everybody can pitch in, OK? :smileywink:

Your question was "where do I type loader.exe /resettofactory"

As user Crackberry posted:

In the command prompt, you will need to locate the Apploader folder, provided you have a C drive, it will be located at:

C:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

(the command you would use is cd \program files\common files\research in motion\apploader)

You will then type in (without the quotes) "loader.exe /resettofactory"

I had to reread it three or four times before it sunk in ! :smileywink:

Thanks,

Re: Remove IT Policy from personal phone

Hi,

Have you installed and are familiar with the desktop manager software?

What version do you currently have installed?

Thanks,

Re: Remove IT Policy from personal phone

Hi,

I'll be happy to give you as much information as possible.

I would however suggest brushing up on the manual, and looking at the attached illustrated procedure.

Desktop Manual 4.7

How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software using the Application Loader tool

I think that user Crackberry laid out an excellent step by step procedure in a very straight forward manner.

Read over the information, and see if it gets a little more clear.

Thanks,
