Takes sooo long to send message on bbm

whats wrong with this thing it takes soo long to send messages on blackberry messenger

im on tmobile and have curve 8900

AND YES i did restart the phone / resend service books

Maybe you call a restart what I call a reboot... With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

 

 

Anyway, how long is it taking to send?

Are you measuring to the time a D for delivered appears?

Yes i did take out the battery and everything

 

And when i send a message it ONLY has a tick no "D" Or "R"

 

so when it just has a tick it means it aint sent yet and sometimes it has some kind of red bar or something

I've never seen a "red bar or something". Where?

 

So, Look on your BlackBerry at Manage Connections > Services Status.

At Blackberry Internet Services, what is the status?

It says "Connection:Mobile Network"

 

and its some kind of red box or something it dont have a tick or anything

just some kind of red square

So sorry, I have no idea what it is you speak of... you don't even say where you're seeing this read square.

Look you know when you send a message on bbm it normaly has a TICK or a tick with d or r

but it dont have a tick or anything it just has some small red box

Sounds like BBMessenger is having some server problems.

 

If you have a friend's PIN number, send them a PIN message to test.

 

Open your Messages folder >Compose PIN.

And send a test message. You will ONLY get a D for delivered, no R for read there.

 

What happens?
