WMA files not playing

Everytime I receive a .wma email attachment, I download the file and it appears to be playing on media player, but I don't hear any sound.  Any recommendations/solutions.

Re: WMA files not playing

I tried playing some WMA file day before yesterday. No response from my BB. WMA files are very popular and BB should support these formats. Someday things might change...

Re: WMA files not playing

WMA is farrrr from popular, only DRM infested files typically use WMA, as long as BB supports .mp3 files, all is good.

Re: WMA files not playing

I agree mp3 support is most desirable...but we also think about the next desirable. WMA is also popular around the globe...hey I'm not advocating for Microsoft but we should accept that WMA is very popular in deed!!

Re: WMA files not playing

The Pearl 8130 does support WMA.  I agree, this is a popular format and should be supported, even by Apple.

Re: WMA files not playing

The 8130 does support, aside from that theirs plenty of 3rd party apps that you can load as well that give you the support such as X-Player
