but on this device in past you can done some Enterprise activation so this it policy stored in your deveice registry and you can not remove it.
if you want to remove this then perform one time for enterprise activation without IT policy assign by your IT adminitrator and after that you can remove the old one IT policy .
but why you want to disable the firewall ? any thing blocks in this firewall option?

On my bb 9700 i loaded berry weather 2.0 and worked well, then i done enterprise activateion and all ok. Then found out the phone had a software problem with the blackberry chat, so i took it back to shop and they reloaded OS software. Now i had to download my berryweather again but it says "the application berryweather has attempted to open a connectionto a location inside thefirewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy
This why i want to disable the fire wall, any way to do?

If you have this issue its pretty easy to fix from your home without calling your provider. First you should back-up all you info on your phone cause you will be wiping your phone.
(if you are using a mac im not too sure if it will work the same way.)
1: go to your comand prompt
2: type"cd.." till you get to just "C:\>"
3: type in "cd C:\program files\common files\reasearch in motion\apploader" (press enter)
at this point you will see this "C:\>Program Files\Common Files\Reasearch In Motion\Apploader>"
4: now type in "loader.exe/restoretofactory" (press enter)
this will restart your phone and wipe it then restart your phone. this should solve the problem. it worked for me.
hope this helps everyone.
