My Device: blackberry curve 9380

my desktop software stopped working

whenever i try to start my blackberry desktop software it shows that a problem has caused the program to stop running....

Hey anubhav2511,

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

 

This can be caused by Windows user Account Control or security software, try completing the following to help resolve this issue:

 

1. Right click on BlackBerry Desktop Software and select Run as Administrator.
2. Disable User Account Control in Windows.
3. Reconfigure or disable or any third party security software to prevent the security software from denying access to required files or registry keys.
