release notes

Hi

 

does anybody know if blackberry give release notes out for OS releases? i am looking particularly at the 9780 and 9800

Hello,

RIM (btw..."BlackBerry" is a device...RIM is Research In Motion, the company that makes BlackBerry devices) does not control anything about the OS release process to end users. Rather, RIM releases OS packages to the carriers, who control the release process to the end users. Sadly, many of the carriers are notoriously bad at actually publishing any release notes about specific OS packages. Some folks scour the internet for independent reviews of specific OS packages...there are several reputable 3rd parties that do so.
