hi guys, sorry im bit of a noob when it comes to phone plans. anyways heres my question. i have the blackberry bold 9700, my carrier is Rogers, and i have the unlimited data plan service thing. does that mean i can use the web browser built in to the blackberry for "free". because i know i can connect to my router with the wi-fi, but i just wanna know if unlimited data plan means if i can use the internet on my phone without any extra charges

Every carrier sets the rules of what services are available and what they cost. This generic FAQ provides some information:
However, with hundreds of carriers in the world each with dozens of different data plans, it's best to ask them directly what services you can have and at what fees. But, typically, the built in BB Browser requires a full BB data plan (as shown in the FAQ). However, as the FAQ also points out, you can obtain a different browser that might be able to work with whatever your services are that you have enabled from your carrier.

Thank you very much and kudos. I guess I don't have the full BB data plan, only the unlimed data plan, for BB, fb, msn and such. Thank you once again for taking your time to help me out
