Auto Deploy Application on BES

I am trying to automatically build & deploy an application on BES, here is what Im trying to do

Build -> Move cod,alx to BES -> Update Index -> Using BESUserAdminClient.exe , Remove SW COnfig for user1 -> Using BESUserAdminClient.exe , Apply SW COnfig user1->  Lauch Simulator -> Run fledge scripts

The status on the BES for the isntallated new application  doesnt change, its shows "Application Status : Install Required".

If I use "Deploy Applications" from the menu it then deploys the application to the client.

Is there any command that I could to use for the "Deploy Application" function. Or is there an alternative for this

Re: Auto Deploy Application on BES

Procedure to deploy apps quicker without using Deploy Applications:

1) Open regedit
2) Browse to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\BlackBerry IT Admin Server
3) Create / edit DWORD Value AppProvisioningPollInterval

4) Set the value to the number of minutes you want; 10 for 10 minutes

5) Restart the BlackBerry Policy Service

RIM Recommended Production Implementation : 120 to 240
RIM Recommended Test (Non-Production): 30 to 60
If you really want to test it: 5

Enjoy.

Re: Auto Deploy Application on BES

Hi,

Is it normal that the AppProvisioningPollInterval key is missing in the registry?  BB support recently did a webcast "Managing Application Push in the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution" (http://webcast.streamlogics.com/audience/index.asp?eventid=63414) which mentions that the default interval to scan for software configuration changes is 4 hours, and explains how to change this.  However, when I take a look at my registry for the BB enterprise server, that keyword does not exist.  Do I need to create it, or does the default 4-hour scan still take effect without that key?

Thanks,

By default this key does not exist.
