BES 4.0, Blackberry 9700 - Temporarily Disable a Blackberry

Someone has been issued a Blackberry 9700 that is connected to Bes 4.0. Unfortunately we need to block the user from being able to use it until a certain date. Is there a way that this can be done easily? We do not want to have to delete the user and have to go through the activation process as they are in a different country.

Thank you! x

Re: BES 4.0, Blackberry 9700 - Temporarily Disable a Blackberry

Hello Caroline_Thorne,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thank you for your question regarding temporarily disabling a BlackBerry.

The best option would be to Disable Redirection and disable Connection and Collaboration Services by right clicking on the user in BlackBerry Manager.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
