BES 5.0.4 login to BAS failed more then once per day. Need to restart BAS service.

Hello, 

After upgrading from SP3 to bare SP4 (no MRs) , my log in to BAS with Besadmin and with local bes account, failed few time per day with message "login failed, please contact your sysadmin". 

 

I then need to restart BAS service and wait for few minutes and then everything is ok,.. for some time.

 

 

 

from BES_BBAS-AS_01xxx i momonet of login i can see only this error.

Hello nenadmlinar,

Thank you for your question regarding unable to log into BAS. 

 

This error is referencing is that it cannot bind to port 23843. Please see the below KB article.

 

KB20563 - "Login failed. Please contact your System Administrator" is displayed when attempting to l...

TCPview :  it says that PID 0 is system idle also binding port 23843. but there is more then one BAS-NCC.exe session on same port and one on 28083. After restart BAS Application service I noticed that only two BAS-NCC.exe sessions are there, first BAC_NCC.exe  on 23843 and second BAC-NCC on 28083.

Update.

 

I did install of latest , in this case MR5, two restarts and now everything is ok.
