Hi Team,

 

I have followed all of the above steps. And it is still only working one way?? Can any one provide further assistance? What do you need to see to ensure I have completed all the above correctly. As I did bump into a few hiccups and steps that did not appear into to be listed in the repair process.

Hey appologies. For late response. I had been under the pump with a recent network crash. Also been very ill.

 

So this was placed on hold. It is still not working. It only appears to be working both ways for one user.

 

Every one else it doesnt appear to be working. only one way. if you place reminder in outlook it appears on black berry.

 

if you place reminder in black berry it does not appear in outlook ??

 

what logs can I check or post to find out info as to where I am at?

ok i followed all this:

and reinstalled MAPI etc. now when I am on the last stage of recreating the MAPI profile, I do all the registry edit etc. then I goto:

 

BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1

  1. Go to Start > Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server > BlackBerry Server Configuration.
  2. On the BlackBerry Server tab, click Edit MAPI Profile.

"When i get to step two i get this error:  "The mapi subsytem cannot be correctly iniatilized and used. Please make sure MAPI is installed and configured properly"

Hi guys,

 

ok the above issue with the mapi was fixed by following renaming the mapi32.dll to mapi32.bak and reinstalling ExchangeMapiCdo. following the guide.

 

 

then i reinstalled the exchange system admin only on the BES server:

now the mapi profile is working.

 

Still same issue but its only going one way . have i missed anything?
