Cannot send emails.

Hello all,

I'm running a BES server with 9 users. We had to run a /disasterrecovery on our exchange server 2003 and re-installed sp2 for exchange. Anyways, all of the necessary services are running users can receive email on their phones, use internet ect ect. I know it is not an issue with the phones or data service. When we try composing, replying or forwarding (sending emails from phone) red X appears and email fails. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Re: Cannot send emails.

I tried it with no success. The thing is none of my AD permissions changed. I think it may just be a routing issue or something. If it is a permissions issue then it would be with Exchange Directly not AD.

Re: Cannot send emails.

Are there errors in the BES logs?

Yes:

I cleared Application log, then tried to send an email then this came up:

{name@mysite.com} Send() failed: ERR_SUBMIT_MAIL, Tag=73937

Re: Cannot send emails.

What are you seeing in the CTRL and ALRT logs for errors?  Correlate them with errors in the MAGT log and publish them.
