Cannot view JPG files

Hello,

We are running Blackberry Enterprise Server 3.6.2.14.  This system was in place before I began working for this company.  I have very limited experience using a BES.

Users are able to open Excel and Word documents, but cannot open JPG files.  Is that something that is possible?  If so, does it require 3rd party software or just configuration changes?

Thanks,

Re: Cannot view JPG files

You need BES 4.0 or > to be able to view .JPG attachments

Re: Cannot view JPG files

Is that an upgrade that needs to be purchased or is it a free download?  Thanks again for all your help!

Upgrades from 3.6 to 4.x are a paid / purchased upgrade (unless you have a TSupport contract which includes these for free).

The current version of BES is 4.1 SP6 MR2.  You could upgrade your 3.6 SP2 to SP3 through SP7 for free and once upgraded to that level you could upgrade to 4.1 SP6.  After that, you could apply MR2 and be at the most current level.
