I just recently received a blackberry bold 9930 through my company. The enterprise or desktop inbox is only displaying emails for a few days back and not all in my outlook email inbox. Also, my folders are completely blank. I'm going from an iPhone where I've had access to all in my inbox and folders. I was advised by Verizon that since my emails are being pushed through the server I should have access however my IT is advising my emails will only go back 15 days or 750 emails. Ive known people within my company that had old blackberries and that wasn't the case. Is there a setting that I can update without their assistance? I don't feel like the information they are providing is correct. Thank you.

You do not get all emails upon activation. You can however search for items and here is some good info on BES.
If using the same PIN upon activation look at this KB
For subfolders you have to enable them first.
and for older ones that wont prepopulate here are some tricks.
In the BlackBerry smartphone user's mailbox, create a subfolder of the Inbox called Recover.
Drag the email messages to be restored to the Recover folder.
On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Messages.
Set the Search Type to Remote.
Set the Service to Desktop.
Set the Folder to Recover.
Press the Menu key and click Search.
While viewing the search results, press the Menu key.
Click Add All.
The message headers for the email messages will be added to the message list on the BlackBerry smartphone.
