Error 1069

I changed my phone service from business to personal. I kept the same data service. My blackberry would not send or receive emails. I logged into my server under BPSAdmin and turned off the router and dispatching under services. I waited for over 2 hrs and then tried to log in and turn the back on. I was able to log in to the program but got this error message. I search the knowledge based and right clicked on the service and under log on added administrator to the names that could log on. Still go the same response. Please advise on correction.

you need to add BPSAdmin and its password (not the administrator) under log on tab for the BB services.

That worked great. i was able to turn on the both the router and dispatching. I am still not getting stuff sent to my blackberry. Should I reboot the server or any other suggestions at this point?

"Service Blocked" means that you have BIS plan on your SIM card, you need to get in touch with the carrier and switch the service to BES on ur SIM card.

Att is making the adjustment, good catch. I guess it will be necessary to shut down BB router and dispatcher for 2 hrs and then turn back on to work?

No, once they fix it, you should be all set, when a user is unable to send mail, first thing you always check is if the user is able to send mail.  "service blocked" once they resolve the issue, you should be all set.

Beleive me it is not related to stopping or restarting any service, it is clearly points to the fact that you have BIS plane on your SIM card and not BES plan...just double check with the service provider about your data plane on the SIM card...this is my 2 cents:smileywink:

well, you were correct in the BIS and BES, and that has been changed. I am still not able to send or receive. The message I get now on my phone is Failed to Contact Service. Do you think this still deals with service provider?
