Why not try to take a look at the "HA Software for BlackBerry" solution? I think it is a great solution for the High Availability for your BlackBerry server with many other functionalities likes automatic detection, system monitoring, many kind of reporting and almost the super interligent shell to help you to accomplish your BlackBerry admin tasks.

Re: High Availability strategy

I want with a manual failover technic having a second BES on standby, setup exactly like the active one (same SRP, connected to the same central SQL database).

I know with version 5.0 of BES, there's a built in HA solution but I'm already in decent enough shape.

Thanks Andy for your help.

Re: High Availability strategy

Has anyone looked at this new High Availablity soltuion that is a Remote SaaS based solution. Serac IROD. They have set this up for the SMB company like ours. I am thinking of trying it out. They say under $5000 per year and set up is under 24 hours. Looks like there is a cool web based monitoring portal. Supports BES and all Microsoft servers. http://www.seractech.com/irod.html
