Yes, you can change it there.

I would HIGHLY recommend calling RIM TSupport to help with the language barrier.  I hate to say it, but I think it is your best option; always better to be safe.

Re: Moving 4000+ BB users to new BES environment, due to transfer to a new organization.

Hi .. Thanks for your prompt reply; but am bit worried on response to point # 3.

If devices are wiped out, it will definitely delete the mails from the device ... correct; but will that affect the server

mail box too ?

Re: Moving 4000+ BB users to new BES environment, due to transfer to a new organization.

No it will not remove messages from the mailbox.  The way it'll be removed from the mailbox is if the user deletes the message from the HH and it is set to delete from the mailbox also. Wiping the device does not touch the email / calendar / etc items in the mailbox.

Thanks again for a lightening quick response .. it appears to be one-to-one discussion over the phone !!:smileyhappy:

One more favor from you ... if you can help me with best practices for IT security policies with BES 4.1 environment pls.

(or a sample corporate policy for BES users).

BES Policy Reference Guide

That lists all available IT Policy settings and also includes some recommendations based on what your security requirements are.  VERY good starting point.
