Hello, are there steps for me to follow to upgrade my server? I am currently running Blackberry Enterprise 4.1 on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server maching running SQL 2000 and the Exchange 5.5 client. I would like to upgrade this server to Windows 2003. I've searched for a while but haven't been able to find a PDF or anything else with directions.
Or would it be easier to get a new Windows 2003 server and install Blackberry Enterprise fresh?

You're in a really ugly situation ...
I don't know if you can install the Exchange 5.5 components on Windows Server 2003; never tried it.
What version of Exchange are you running?

Well, I'm almost done with my migration to Exchange 2003. I am running a 5.5 and an 2003 Exchange server together.
Most likely, my first step is to uninstall the Exchange 5.5 stuff on the BB Server and install the 2003 Exchange management stuff on it then reconfigure the BB software to use it.
Then, I think I have to upgrade my SQL server version (2000) because it doesn't run on Windows 2003 Server.
Dose that sound right?

Ok, if you're running both and have BES users on both you should be using the Exchange 2003 MAPI components (ESM).
What version of SQL are you running now? Is it on the BES? Remote? What is the OS of that SQL?

On the BES is SQL Server 2000 standard. I will have to check if it is compatable with Windows 2003, I think when I first tried to upgrade this a while back I ran into that problem.
