Whatsapp through the proxy

Hi,

I am testing a policy that would allow the download and install of only whatsapp. what settings would i need to change to enable this.

i installed whatsapp using the default policy, and i have moved my policy back to the whatsapp policy i created.  i am able to open the app and see my contacts, but the messages are not going through? what settings would i need to change? Is the traffic going through my proxy? All http and https traffic currently are through my proxy.

Appreciate any help. Thanks. Regards.

Re: Whatsapp through the proxy

Thanks,, Knottyrope. I had to create a separate IT policy, setting

Allow IBS Browser -Yes

Allow other Browser services-Yes

also,

Application Restriction Rule-Allow

Application Restriction List-2360

It's working now.

Thanks again.
