My BB Bold 9700 keeps wiping itself back to factory defaults all on it's own. Has happened 3 times now and
always over the weekend when I hardly use it. I lose my Enterprise server connection so I can't get my work emails and also lose all calendar entries and contacts not saved on the SIM card. A particularily irritating problem since my
IT Dept at work is so very slow on answering to give me another Enterprise password. Anyone know why this keeps happening? A co-worker says he had the same issue form this past weekend.

there are a few IT policy settings that will wipe it
low battery = wipe
no contact in x hours = wipe
no it policy in x hours = wipe
We really need your BESAdmin to assist as you might not be able to find these setting on your device but are visible on the BES server

Thank you - I have contacted them and waiting on their assistance. The low battery sounds like the most logical reason, as I said on weekends I don't (I try not to) pay too much attention to it as it's a work phone. I didn't realize that would wipe out all the settings and the BB Enterprise info.

that is a possibility, hopefully your BESAdmin will know for sure.
