BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2003 - new installation

It looked like everything installed properly and I can get into Server Configuration and Administration Service...  I can add a user but not activate the device...  When checking the logs, I found this...

When I run IEMSTest.exe I get this:

 

OpenMsgStore() for this profile failed (8004011d)

 

What did I do wrong???

The BES is installed on the same server as Exchange...

 

IEMSTest gives me the error that it could not connect 8004011d...

you need to follow the manual, you have to use the BESADmin service accoutn when installing BES, CDO and JAVA. Then to run the permissions test you have to be logged in as BESADmin as well.

 

read my post on BESAdmin account fro clarity on this, I made this same mistake years ago and learned alot from it

So I need to uninstall, login as BESAdmin, reinstall...  Which of course requires reboots...

That did it...  I can now communicate and the device is trying to install the services...
