BES to BIS at Carrier

Hello,

I am looking in to a scenario for a client: we have already migrated a client’s Blackberry Enterprise Server (Full version) to the Blackberry Enterprise Server Express, and have not had any issues.

The Handsets still have the BES Bolton from the carrier, and we are looking in to the carrier removing this and adding BIS instead. I know this set up will work, but what I am unsure of, is the behaviour of the device while this is happening:

  1. Will the device wipe itself when the change goes through?
  2. Will each device need to re-activated on the BESX server?

Are any of these points correct?

Many thanks for the input on this.

Graham
