Installing BPS on a W2k3 server. Exchange server is a seperate W2008 box with Exchange 2007.
I feel like i am at the end of this nightmare but cant seem to open my eyes.
I am at a point where i launch the BB Manager and i get the following error:
"Failed to open the default message store using the Mapi profile BlackberryManager..."
I am logged in as besadmin and it is a member of domain user, not domain admins. If i run iemstest.exe using the BlackberryManager profile i get a MAPI logon failed 80040605. If i run iemstest.exe with the blackberryserver profile i can access the address book and select a user- tests passes no problem.
Seems to me i just need to be able to open the address book with the Blackberry Manager profile and i am good to go....RIGHT?
I have seen several posts with this error but have verified all of the info and rights are correct.

What happens if you type in the Exchange Server name again and the BESAdmin's name and click "Check Name"?
BlackBerryServer is the MAPI Profile the Server Uses
BlackBerryManager is the MAPI Profile the User interface uses.

That option is not presented. Once i hit OK to exit the "failed to open the efault message store using the Mapi profile BlackberryManager" message it goes striaght into the Blackberry Manager application.
once in the blackberry manager application, i try to create a new user and there are no address books available to select from.

When I ran into this I just logged into a machine on the network as the BPAdmin and setup the Outlook account. I believe that also creates the MAPI account.
Outlook on a diff machine using BESAdmin has nothing to do with BES MAPI profile being corrput.
His MAPI profile on BES (Local) was affected and needed to be fixed on the BES.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
