Can someone explain what this means at the top of the push service evaluation form please:
"If your pushes are transmitted exclusively through the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, you don't need to register."
I'm trying to get push working through a newly installed BES server and not sure if the device is suppose to send a registration to BIS or our BES. If you don't register how can push work exclusively through the BES?

PUSH will only work on activated BES devices
What version BES are you using?

It's Bes 5.0 SP3
It is active, emails work to the device via exchange. However it's unclear if we need our BlackBerry application to register direct with the Bes or via the Bis using this address - http://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com/mss/PD_subReg
What I really wanted is for someone to explain what this actually means:
"If your pushes are transmitted exclusively through the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, you don't need to register."
