We are currently having trouble with Blackberry devices with the operating system version 7.0 only; our corporate users are unable to browse the internet with their Blackberry browsers that are configured to use the BES MDS proxy settings, instead they are receiving the following message:
" A communication error occurred: "" when browsing any website.
Please note that the problem is only effected with Blackberry devices model 9900 with OS v7.0 bundle 1465, older Blackberry devices with OS v6.0 browser are functioning normally.

Fixed,
Upgraded the device firmware to the latest version
I am on AT&T. Please edit your Personal Profile with your DEVICE TYPE, DEVICE OS and Carrier
