Blackberry Unite not functioning after 4.5 OS upgrade

I upgraded my blackberry's OS to 4.5 but it isn't synching all appts on Unite.  Some are some aren't, and it seems rather random which ones are and aren't.  Also can no longer access download manager or remote device manager.  Any suggestions?

Hi tommyguard,

You are going to have to reactivate your BlackBerry smartphone. You can do this from the console under 'Mobile First Aid.' If you need additional instructions, please see the Help section on the console.

Re: Blackberry Unite not functioning after 4.5 OS upgrade

I had already tried this several times before posting.  I also tried removing the unite software from my handheld using the blackberry desktop manager.  Neither option helped.  Items entered on the computer synchronize with the handheld, but when entered on the handheld it doesn't synchronize with the computer.

Re: Blackberry Unite not functioning after 4.5 OS upgrade

tommyguard3,

There are a couple of other options available to you.

1) You can check to make sure that the Message Service is set to Unite on the BlackBerry smartphone for your calendar.

2) Contacts only synchronize one way from BlackBerry Unite! to the smartphone unless you share the contact from the smartphone.

3) If both Calendar and Contacts options do not work, your best route of support would be to contact your wireless service provider for support.

If your wireless service provider does not support 4.5 handheld software, you will need to downgrade the handheld software to a supported version and proceeding from that point.
