Exchange 2010 RTM (NO SP1) Public Folders required for BES 5?

I was just about to remove the last remnants of our old Exchange 2003 orginization by ripping out public folders when I remembered BES.

Does anyone know if there is a requirement for Exchange 2010 RTM public folder's because I would really like to get rid of them?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info, I actually recalled something about that registry setting on another issue, and it appears that the registry settings no longer worked for a user who installed Exchange 2010 SP1.

I don't think I am ever going to get rid of public folders.

I know the feeling, we have many that use it as well.
