How to upgrade BES 5.0.0. (Bundle 223) to BES 5.0.4 inorder to support Exchange 2010

Dear All,

I am a newbie for BES and this forum.I am just learning things( RIM Tranport Tool,Migration) on BES 5.0.0.Now in our company we have decided to move exchange from SBS 2003 to exchange 2010 with MS 2012 std server on a new Hardware.Currently our BES 5.0.0 runs on separate Hardware (standalone server with 2003 std ).now i want to know whether if we move our mailboxes from old one to new one including BESadmin mail box ,whether the existing BES server setup will work with new exchange 2010 ?.If not Please guide me on details to be followed.Thank you.

no it will not work, you have to get SP3 for it to work and SP4 would be better

Best would be to upgrade to SP3 then apply SP4.

Then fail over to new hardware using HA (If on full BES and not express)

If on express install second BES and use transporter to move users over.

Install Exchange 2010 and then follow KB on bottom
