Migrating from Exchang 2007 to 2013 with BESX 5.0

We are in the process of setting up a new Exhange 2013 server to replace our old exchange 2007.  I can't seem to find any guide in Blackberry for the migration path.

I want to maintain the exchange 2007 while we migrate and I don't want to loose BB functionality.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Migrating from Exchang 2007 to 2013 with BESX 5.0

you need to intall a new BES dedicated for 2013 as the method of accessing the mail store is different and not compatable between the two

Re: Migrating from Exchange 2007 to 2013 with BESX 5.0

How about adding an additional BESX to the exisitng one.  The orginal one speaking with Exchange 2007 and the other connected to exchange 2013.

Re: Migrating from Exchange 2007 to 2013 with BESX 5.0

Thank you for the quick reply..

Does it mean, I have to create a new BESadmin account/email that will reside on the 2013 exchange server?  We have alot of users still on exchange 2007 and will take time to migrate.  I want to make sure their blackberry keep functioning during the migration period.

Yes you will need to as for the migration the BESAdmin account must be on 2013 for permissions to take affect.
