Re: Outlook sync

Hi lyasss,

Currently,  there is no tool available for exporting Outlook contacts/calendar entries and importing them into BlackBerry Unite!. If you'd like to see such a feature implemented in a future maintenance release, please let us know. Email us at bbsuggestions@blackberry.com.

Re: Outlook sync

Actually Alpha if it would just sync with the device or atleast give the option to sync those two items with each device as they are activated would be very bennificial since you could sync with OL first then with Unite and pull your contacts and calendar in that way. That might save you guys some work.

Re: Outlook sync

I've noticed that when device contacts are categorized with the "unite" category that they will sync with the unite contacts.  They only seem to sync though if they are only categorized with the unite category. If another category is selected like work or Personal then the device contact will not sync.  This seems counterintuitive and makes the category tags useless if one wishes to wirelessly sync contacts to unite.  A better way would be to sync contacts with the unite tag regardless of what other categories the contact may be in.

Re: Outlook sync

This sounds like a reasonable request. What I'd like to do is take this suggestion and pass it along for further analysis.

Re: Outlook sync

Alpha,

What would be usefull is not an export/import, but a dynamic way to use outlook contacts/calendar within Unite, and then synchronising wirelessly to the BB.

Is that what you're planning to implement ?
