Problem with calendar entries, attachments and signatures

[ Edited ]

Hi,

A user on our BESx server has a few problems with his handheld.

Firstly the user has many calendar appointments made that can change or be cancelled, a lot of the time the user will have cancelled an appointment on Outlook but the appointment will still appear on the handheld.

Secondly the user will receive attachements with emails, and when they forward that email on the attachements get removed, this is happening to files of any size.

Finally when the user sends emails, intermittently the signature from withing their Blackberry is removed, it seems to randomly choose which mails have the signature and which dont.

Can anybody help with these please?

Kind Regards

Re: Problem with calendar entries, attachments and signatures

have you enabled hard deletes on BES? that can keep an old invite in place.

Attachment forwarding can be an issue if you reached that max sent size. what size attachment?

Re: Problem with calendar entries, attachments and signatures

Yes, hard delete is enabled on the BESx server.

Attachments are various sizes up to 10MB.

  • Select Get Plain Text.
